**The final class will be a one-hour review and discussion class in which we will share our finished work and celebrate our accomplishments.  All other classes are 2 ½ hours each.

Cost: $495,  includes a 25 pound bag of new clay, a shelf space, use of studio tools, glazes and firing.

This 9-session course is designed for anyone new to throwing on the potter’s wheel. Kate will cover an overview of the entire wheel-throwing process from centering & throwing through trimming & glazing. The class will begin with cylinder shapes, including vases, cups & planters, and move on to bowls and wider shapes. Each class will include demonstrations as well as plenty of time to practice, with flexibility to address any specific questions and interests that arise, such as making handles or adding surface decoration. 

In addition to the weekly class, registration in this course gives you access to 3 practice Lab sessions per week.

Refund policy: Full refund a week+ before the start of the class. 50% refund 3-7 days before the class begins. No refund within 72 hours of the first class.
