This 8 week class is designed for anyone new to throwing on the potter's wheel, those wishing to polish up on rusty skills, or as a follow up to any other beginner wheel class. We will overview the entire wheel throwing process with hands-on demonstrations in each class. Focusing on Bowls and cylinders, the building blocks of wheel work, we cover all the basics and more, such as handles and decorative carving. There will be plenty of time for one on one Q&A, assistance, and individualized demonstrations. I am a very thorough and encouraging teacher, and I love to see students progress!

This class gets you in the studio for weekly instruction, as well as access to 4  practice lab sessions per week.

The final class will be a review and discussion lasting only 1 ½ hours. All other classes are 2 ½ hours each.

For ages 16 and older.

Please contact the instructor before the first class to inform them of any student with special needs and to determine if the student needs to be accompanied by an assistant or support person for the classes.

Refund Policy:  Refund possible a week or more before the start of the class is $425 (minus a $25 admin fee). 50% refund 3-7 days before the class begins. No refund within 72 hours of the first class except in the case of emergency.
