This 10 week class is designed for anyone who has some previous wheel experience or taken an intro to wheel throwing class, and wants to level up their skills! Basic centering skills required. Each class will have a focus and optional homework style project. Topics will include creating sets, throwing off the hump, lids and stoppers, shaping with and without ribs, trimming and carving to refine forms, and in a more thorough glazing section. Focusing on Bowls and cylinders, the building blocks of wheel work, we cover all the basics and so much more.
There will be plenty of time for one on one Q&A, assistance, and individualized demonstrations. I am a very thorough and encouraging teacher, and I love to see students progress! I provide a syllabus with firing deadlines a week before class begins.

The final class will be a review and discussion lasting only 1 ½ hours. All other classes are 2 ½ hours each.
